The new patented
Hex Hive®
is now available!

Completely assembled. Just add bees!

Each custom built Hex Hive® is a sculptural
piece of garden art as well as a functional bee
hive.

The Hex Hive® system comes complete with a
Screened Bottom Box, Brood Chamber Super
filled with frames, three Honey Supers filled
with frames and the combination Ventilated
Inner Cover and Peaked Roof.

All the components stack neatly on top of one
another and the roof fits snugly on top.

My inspiration for the Hex Hive® came from
asking myself, “What kind of hive could I
make that would be close to a natural, wild hive
usually found in a cylindrical tree branch?”

The inspirational design of the Hex Hive®
also duplicates the shape of the cell in the comb
the bees build for themselves.

I designed it this way to save the girls from having to overexert themselves walking up 5 stories to place their food in the cells.

I LOVE BEES!

My life changed when I placed my first honeybee hive in my yard.
Here I am holding a frame of live honey bees. They are actually very gentle when they don't feel threatened.

   Since discovering the wonderful world of bees, I have fallen in love with all the amazing products that come from inside the hive as well as the bees themselves.
    The healing properties of every bee product can be described as nothing short of miraculous.
    That's why I dove, head first, into the making of products that feature ingredients directly from the bees themselves.
    There will be more to come as I continue my exploration of the honey bees and what they have to not only offer us in the form of honey, wax, and propolis, but what they have to teach us as well.
    I "Thank Nature" everyday for allowing me to take a peek into a world I am just beginning to discover holds answers that we humans have been searching for these past eons.
